We would be delighted that you to take part in the “Orca meet the Tealers in UK tour” in preparation. We’d like to invite you to take part on one of all legs and will give you some more information of the tour.
The preparation for the multi-day members outing to England is in full swing; the contacts with the English friends of the Tealclub have been laid and Aaldert met Richard Ashton in England recently and discuss one thing and another.

Provisional programme;
Day 1, 3rd of June
- Departure on Wednesday (approx.) 16:00 to Hook of Holland (approx. 95 km).
- The (night) ferry departs around 22:00 and we need to be there about 2 hours beforehand to check in.
- Crossing with Stenaline (with car and participants).
- Overnight on the ferry, twin cabin.
- You can take food with you from home to enjoy on the ferry (for example, cool box with tasty rolls, soft drinks etc.). It’s high priced on the ferry boat.
- Other refreshments on the ferry are for your own account.
Day 2, 4th of June Harwich- Aylesbury
- Arrival in Harwich on Thursday morning approx. 06:30.
- Start Thursday, leaving the Harwich ferry, meeting Tealers and having breakfast at Premier Inn at Harwich.
- Tour of 220 km along, Colchester> Goggeshall> Braintree> Great Dunmow> Standen> Baldock> Biggleswade> Old Warden
And stopover in Old Warden for; Shuttlewood museum, Swiss Gardens, bying tickets for Dartford tunnel.
- Then to Aylesbury over> Clophill> Linslade> Amthill> Woburn > Aylesbury.
- Gathering in the lounge of the Premier Inn hotel Aylesbury.
- Overnight in Premier Inn Hotel Aylesbury.
- Address enclosed.
Day 3, 5th of June Aylesbury- Southampton
Day 5 7th of June Southampton- Eastbourne /Polegate
- Start Sunday morning. Having breakfast together for the 150 km tour, leaving Southampton with Tealers.
- Turn along Owslebury Bramdean> Langrish> Rogate> Midhurst> Petworth (stop over)> Billinghurst> Coolham> Cowfold A23 > Peycombe> Brighton.
- Stop over in Brighton.
- Continue Coast road to A259 New Haven> Berwick> Lewis Rd A27> Polegate/Eastbourne.
- Gathering in the lounge of Premier Inn Hotel Polegate.
- Visit boulevards of Eastbourne or Filching Manor museums.
- Overnight in Premier Inn Hotel Polegate/Eastbourne.
- Address enclosed.
Day 6 8th of June Polegate/ Eastbourne to Harwich
- Start Monday morning having breakfast together and 210 km tour, leaving Polegate/Eastbourne to Harwich.
- Tour along Hailsham> Horam> Mayfield> Frant> Royal Tunbridge Wells> Platt> Borrow Green> Wrotham heath (coffee break)> West Kingsdown> Dartford (tunnel)> Stanford Le Hope> Basildon> Chelmsford> Colchester> Harwich.
- Stop over in Royal Turn bridge Wells
- Gathering in Premier Inn Harwich (coffee break and dinner).
- Booking ferry for Hook of Holland.
- Check in 21.30, departure 23.30.
Day 7 9th of June Harwich- Hook of Holland
- Arrival in Hook of Holland approx. 45.
- Breakfast together in the city of Hoek van Holland
- Everyone can make their own way home (approx. 95 km)

Pay attention:
- Crossing there and back with 1 car and 2 persons.
- Hotel stay based on twin room. For example Premier Inn/ Days Inn- hotels.
- Costs of breakfast and dinner.
- Travel insurance and insurance for roadside assistance abroad.
- Petrol for the journey, based on approx. 925 km and average consumption of 1:10 on 2 persons per car.
- Lunch costs (self-support). Admission charges for sightseeing, golf, museum and pocket money.
